A mid-month will be presented in the Hall of Los Angeles, United States, the new redesign of the Volkswagen Passat. Arrive in our dealerships in early 2012 with a renewed body, some details inside and five engines.
The renewal of the Volkswagen Passat ‘Comfort Coupe‘ (CC) comes three years after its debut. A four-door sedan and coupe body, based on the Passat, 2005, which made an impact since its introduction by the beauty of form and quality. An almost unique model has been challenged by rivals like the Renault Laguna Coupe and Coupe Peugeot 407, although these two doors instead of four.
The 2012 Passat CC leave the current soft lines by more sharp and aggressive. Opens a bar and grille with slats and headlights xenon with LED daytime running lights, plus a few more features and also pilots equipped with LEDs. On the inside, in the photos provided by Volkswagen virtually no changes are seen.
The equipment is growing dramatically. As elements of series incorporates the aforementioned optical longitudinal adjustable front headrests and a system that alerts the driver when you are tired to take a break. Optionally available recognition system signs, involuntary change assistant lane, detection of objects in the blind spot lighting with automatic range and heated seats, ventilated and massage function, among others.
The mechanical available will be five. Two diesel 140 and 170 hp and three diesel with outputs of 160, 210 and 300 hp. To reduce fuel consumption, diesel versions will have the start-stop system automatic Start/Stop. With it, Volkswagen signed a consumption of only 4.7 litres/100 km for the TDi 140 with 6-speed manual gearbox.
